Very nice people as all portuguese people. They gave me a map and explained a little bit about the city.

Good place to start, if you want some information and a map of Braga. We did. And it is in the centre, which is good as well. They were friendly and nice.

They put up with my confused state, gave me a map, found out where I was staying and told me how to get to it but, me being me, I went a different way - but still found it.

We came across the Tourist office while walking around Praca da Republica. The staff were quite helpful and provided us with lots of information about the best [laces to see and how to get there. We also got a reasonably good map which helped in identifying places. The Tourist office is always a good place to start your visit in any new place.

Picked up a god map oh historic Braga which would have helped had I had it at the beginning of my exploration. The tourism office is very central on Praça República and Ave Da Liberdade

Very well informed and reliable employees. Also, very kind, a nice place to go and see what Braga has to offer.

Im not often visiting tourist information centers as I dont have good experience with the information they provide (f.e. in Athens).
Fortunately here the employees knew their job, gave me accurate information and everything was provided fast and with a smile. Thanks!

We stayed on the same street as the Tourism office so we walked by it every day. The hours were terrible. It seemed like we could never catch it open. When we finally found it open, the attendant inside was the absolute rudest person in Braga. But we love Braga and there are very few rude people. This woman said that she did not have any maps of Braga, no maps of northern Portugal nor any maps of Portugal. She said that she did not have any discount or combination tickets for the attractions locally. I was looking at a local map under glass at another part of the counter when I saw her open her drawer to give the next customer a map. The drawer was full of maps and information on attractions. I approached again while the other customer was still there and the attendant did give me a map, reluctantly. Not a very friendly place.

We could'nt do without their assistance. Guide, instructions and leaflets were much needed in this tour.

But not all the time we went to ask them information. So we made use of the map and other information.

Began as a post office and the exterior of the building is still there but over time a local mayor purchased it and spent a fortune turning it into high class shops retaining the original wooden staircase but when he lost his position the new mayor changed the rules and stopped any business from moving into any of the shops and it stands empty today except for a gym upstairs and a bar. Well worth seeing.
