Nous avons débuté et terminé notre circuit de visite à pied du centre historique de Braga à cette place (Praça Conde de Agrolongo) car elle dispose d’un parking souterrain (Parque Campo da Vinha) très sécuritaire et qui plus est, situé à proximité des autoroutes pour se rendre au site du sanctuaire Bom Jesus do Monte ainsi que pour faciliter le retour vers Porto en fin de journée. Lors de notre passage (septembre 2019), le marché temporaire de Braga avait installé ses tentes sur une partie de cette place, ce qui avait pour conséquence de voiler la vue sur la façade Est de l’église et du couvent du peuple (Igreja e Convento do Pópulo). Cette place rend hommage à José Francisco Correa (1853-1929), nommé comte d’Agrolongo en 1904. Né à Guimarães, il émigre au Brésil à 10 ans où il devient un industriel prospère (usine de tabac) dès l’âge de 18 ans. Il revient au Portugal en 1903. Très généreux, il est reconnu comme un grand philanthrope et mécène tant au Brésil qu’au Portugal. Il est inhumé dans une chapelle de l’Igreja do Salvador situé au nord de cette place. Un buste à son image et une plaque de bronze illustrant son blason familial sont exposés sur la place, près de la sortie piétonne du stationnement.

Esta é uma praça central, com pouco verde, muita calçada, locais para descanso, café e um bonito chafariz. Logo abaixo, um grande estacionamento.

É uma ampla e bela praça, cuja construção remonta ao séc. XVI.
Há um parque infantil, várias lojas de comércio nas imediações e estabelecimentos de restauração no centro da praça.
Deve o seu nome a José Francisco Correia (1853-1929), um industrial, filantropo, mecenas e fotógrafo luso-brasileiro, fundador de um asilo com o seu nome, em Braga. Está sepultado no Convento do Salvador, situado na mesma praça.
Aqui também se encontra outro edifício importante, o Convento do Pópulo e uma imponente estátua do Marechal Gomes da Costa (1863-1929).
Esta praça é também conhecida como "Campo da Vinha" por ter sido construída sobre um vinhedo.

Praça bastante interessante ,rodeada de inúmeras atracções turísticas,e que também se pode relaxar ou descansar.

Uma praça próxima a Igreja do Pópulo. No seu subsolo há um estacionamento aonde estacionamos. Pode-se apreciar a estátua do Conde e um fonte. José Francisco Correia, o Conde, emigrou para o Brasil, com sua família, quando tinha 10 anos de idade. Tendo aberto sua primeira fábrica com 18 anos a Fábrica de Fumos Veado. Foi um grande benemérito no Rio de Janeiro.

旧市街からバスターミナルに向かうときに通ります。かなり大きいですが、中央は半地下のショッピングモールのようになっています。旧市街の街並みと生活感のある現代の施設が共存しています。
