Barcelos is famous for its ceramics. You can see various sculptures all over the place. The museum has quite collection of ceramic sculptures and little figurines. Very good for art lovers

This museum is a real pledge of Barcelos cultural heritage. Pottery has been a hadicraft activity in this Portuguese region, an artistic activity which have been feeding a lot of families for centuries.

Old home converted to beautiful museum. It is a light high ceilinged space where art can be displayed well. The museum is handicapped equipped and easy to navigate. We saw examples of pottery accompanied by a well done video showing the artists creating their work....More
