Mr. Cardina deserves much credit for having built this place and exhibited his collection of yesterdays tools for farming, fishing and handcraft. His 1:10 models of all (ALL!) the fountains of Porto Santo are stunning

A particular museum , all made by a man, without any official resources or money. Very good and very interesting to see what he made and accomplished. At the end you are also invited to taste his home made Madeira wines. Excellent !

It's worthy to have a look and to know what this island is about. So many traditions and so much history.

This will give you a feel for the island's history and it's very famous traveller, Christopher Columbus. There are many artifacts to see and they are housed in quirky but enchanting building.
