My husband and I read about this museum on Trip Advisor. We found the street but had trouble locating the building at first as there is no apparent sign on the front. We pinpointed the number but the sign said Arazem do Mercado and at...More

The toy Museum is situated in the old town in Funchal. Set out on upstairs floors it has a huge range of toys – many cars, planes, legos etc and in the courtyard outside a collection of Ferrari cars. Great for grown up children.

Most expensive museum visited. Lots of cars, trains, dolls, soldiers, planes etc to see. On second floor so a bit of a climb for older folk. €5 each. Very stuffy so didn't want to linger. Allowed to take photos.

We had a really nice visit here when on holiday. The staff are lovely and the toys (predominantly vehicles and other boys' toys) are well displayed.

We can't remember what the times are but the information center in Funchal will help. They are open most days. Because the Museum is near the busy market, and has a cafe, it has become quite popular. They have a phone... More
