We bought the 3-in1 ticket for 15Euros which was excellent value, especially as the Funchal tour one is valid for 48 hours. We took the yellow tour into Funchal and then got the blue tour to Camara de Lobos. We then got the minibus to the glass viewing platform at Cabo Girao. As some have mentioned, the audio on my... The Yellow Bus tour was with no audio upstairs. When I went down to tell it to the driver, he told me that from what he could see everything was fine, and maybe it was down only upstairs, that by the way is where you should stay in an open bus for a sightseeing. Nevertheless, we decided to go go... More

Our time was limited but we had seen the toboggan and cable car so this was a great way to see some other attractions. We added on the ticket from the cable car ride so I think this helped with the cost a little. We only listened to the tour with the headphones for while but really enjoyed the views... More

We used the bus tour to get to know the area after arrival. It's great that you get 48 hours of travel, which could actually spread across three days. The buses are clean and pleasant, and the drivers are always courteous. The arrivals did seem pretty sporadic, and the extension to the 3-in-1 tour particularly so. We seemed to spend... More

We got tickets for the Yellow Bus on our last day in Funchal. It was definitely worth it. Before buying, we looked online and in the leaflet at the tickets on offer. For only a few euros extra (a total of 15€), it is possible to use a ticket for 48 hours and go on both routes. I would suggest... More

This is a fairly typical hop on/off bus tour. However, there was a lot of sitting around at stops and it wasn't always easy to work out where you were. On a whim, we got off at the viewpoint at number 12 (Pico dos barcelos). It looks like nothing is there but Wow! Walk up the road to the railing... More

We bought the 48 hour pass for the yellow and blue lines for €15 each. It was lovely on the open top bus and, although we did get off a few times, it was nice to just sit there and enjoy the surroundings with a nice cool breeze on your face. Highly recommended, loved it!

Paid 23 euros each for the city tour which lasted 1 1/2 hours, the price also included entry to the cable car which to purchase separately would have cost 14 euros admission each. So in actual fact the bus tour only cost 9 euros and it's an excellent opportunity to get your bearings around the city with the usual headphone... More
