We were looking to do sightseeing in Funchal and we were walking along the marina and we saw this tuk tuk standing and we met a guy called vitor. He was very professional and explained to us the different tours we can do. he picked us up from the resort and took us around. I have a 15 months baby and she loves tuk tuk and hence we decided to do it. Sightseeing in the tuk tuk is a different experience and when you have a tour guide like Vitor the journey becomes more amazing. He is a down to earth person and we are so glad to have met someone like him. Thank you Vitor for everything you did for us and showing us the breathtaking views which I don't think we would have seen. I would highly recommend tuktukin in Funchal as it's a different experience. Thank you Vitor we already miss you.

Brilliant night time Tuk Tuk experience and customer service

The evening city tour was one of the best activities of our holiday. Luis was a great tour guide and his friend Alvaro helped to show us around Funchal at night.

Booking via email was easy. Luis replied quickly to all messages and was flexible about arrangements. He was early to collect us from our hotel and took us to all the main sites, explaining lots of history and facts too.

The tour lasted longer than the hour we paid for, it was never rushed. Lots of photo opportunities and Luis takes a good photo!

Would recommend the Tuk Tuks to anybody as a great way of seeing the best parts of Funchal.

A really Fab trip with Vitor

What a really lovely hour we spent with Vitor today, sightseeing around Funchal. Vitor even let us stop at a supermarket... we both love a TukTuk. The price was very reasonable when you consider how much taxi’s cost.

I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Madeira.

A fantastic way to see Funchal

We had a fantastic ride with Luis on his tuk tuk up to the toboggans at Monte today. He picked us up from our hotel and took us up the mountain, stopping off at a lovely viewpoint to take some photos.

Luis was chatty, exceptionally knowledgeable and funny, and a brilliant driver! I was dubious how these little things get up and down the mountains but it seemed easy! Surprisingly comfortable and a lovely way to see some of the streets you wouldn’t normally see.

Fantastic way to see Funchal

My wife and I were in Funchal for the day to go on the cable car and the toboggan and as it was too hot to walk around, we got talking to Vitor and decided on a tour around Fuchal in his Tuk Tuk.
Vitor was a fantastic guide and took us all around the city and high above for some wonderful photo views, and we stopped at the old market to buy a few things.
We thoroughly enjoyed what was supposed to be an hour, but became 95 minutes and we can 100% recommend this for a great experience; support local businesses at this difficult time. Thank you again, Vitor...see you next year.

Platform is free to visit

Slightly anti-climatic when you eventually get here and find that the glass platform is quite small. Still, it is free (unless you choose to see it through as part of a tour) and we enjoyed the scenic and occasionally scary drive to the top of Cabo Girao. From the top, you will get incredible views of the sea and countryside. expect to spend no more than 20 or so minutes here.

"Top TukTuk Tour!"

We had such an amazing week in Funchal. One of the highlights was our TukTuk ride with Vitor . He was such a gentleman and so knowledgeable. He was very relaxed and gave us plenty of time to Toboggan and also gave us some tips in respect to the language in particular the word 'SLOWER' to the Toboggan drivers! I would certainly recommend him and Funchal....what an amazing place, in fact we have already booked for 2022 for when these strange times are over (fingers crossed).

Fantastic way to see the city if you only have a limited time

Decided to get the tuk tuk trip around the town because we were only there for a day on a cruise and did not think we would get to see everything any other way. We went on the special for an hour with Vitor. Both he and the trip were worth every penny. We saw so much of the old town and he took us to the places with the best views. He even doubled as a photographer for us. You know a lot about the history of the place and was very informative. All in all it was a fabulous tour and so glad that we decided to do it. Thank you Vitor.

An Amazing Day

I was looking to go to Monte Alto to do the Toboggan and found Vitor Pestana with TUKTUKING on the main blvd near the marina. He is so kind and professional and made my day. He explains history of Funchal and points out landmarks as you travel.
The fee was resonable and he met me at the pick-up location after my Toboggan ride. I would recomend he and his company highly.
