This is a very comprehensive collection of photographic and optical equipment housed in a very nice building in the centre of Funchal. There are some very rare and interacting exhibits . It is well worth a visit for any one interested in photography.

Incredible private collection by father and son, with passion for the subject. Very interesting. Explanations and wise knowledge gently given. Not to be missed by optic lovers!

Quite an amazing place...started by the "sorting" of his fathers garage/shed and now being added to (we understand by donation). So wonderful to see all of these items on display..incredible and somewhere that the 5Euro entrance fee was worth it.
