Nice vereda starting on Paul da Serra and going down trough the mountain the weather didn’t help on this trip but you could still see some amazing forests and 1000 years old trees. I highly recommend this vereda.

One of the most beautiful hiking trips

At the Fanal (old laurel wood), two levadas (hiking trails along water levadas) start at the Posto Florestal Fanal where you can park your car (next to the ER 209). PR13 and PR14 are among the most beautiful levadas of Madeira. One minute it's green and sunny, suddenly the fog comes up and the gets misty and wet.

Walk through

Nice vereda starting on Paul da Serra and going down trough the mountain the weather didn’t help on this trip but you could still see some amazing forests and 1000 years old trees. I highly recommend this vereda.
