Moorish- Gothic-Indian style palace of English millionaire Sir Francis Cook . This place is beautiful and park with subtropical trees and plants it’s worth a visit. It’s a pity, but when I arrived here was a wedding party and part of the building and park was closed .

We're spending three days, seeing the major palaces of Sintra. This palace is reminiscent of the Alhambra for its "horror vacui": every square inch is covered in art. It's truly elegant.
Probably the most iconic private house built by the British in Portuguese soil. Extraordinary architecture and very extensive and diverse gardens.
