The hike was a welcome respite from the usual tourist sites we had been seeing, a chance to reconnect with nature and ground. Francisco was wonderful to be with, he was entertaining and kept with our pace, never making us feel like we were slowing him down. Our visit to Monserrate was really spectacular. I want to go on other hikes with him.…

The hike along the cost was incredible! A grateful colors do the sea water, juicy greenery, salty wind...that exactly what you need to recover from the hectic megapolis. In addition, I have learned a lot about Portuguese culture and history.

We did a half-day hike with Theresa and it was the highlight of our visit to Portugal. We did "Where the Land Meeets the Sea" and it included some of the most exquisite scenery we've ever seen. Theresa's expertise made the hike enjoyable, and her knowledge of the area and of the country made the hike informative as well as visually stunning. We ended at a fantastic beach fish restaurant for a delicious meal, then were driven back to our hotel. Highly recommended!…

Walk Hike Portugal is a fantastic guiding company. Booking our hiking trip online was easy. Francisco was in contact with us regularly. We spent three days hiking in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Teresa and Francisco provided transportation to the trailhead and dropped us off at the end of the day. This was a huge benefit as driving in Sintra is not an easy task. Teresa and Francisco are excellent guides. Both of them are extremely knowledgeable of the history, ecology and biology of the Sintra region and of Portugal. We learned so much about Portugal during our time with them. They have both put in a great deal of effort to organize these hikes and to build relationships with their local community stakeholders. Teresa was our guide on the first two days of our trip. It was excellent hiking, amazing scenery and great conversation along the trail both days. On our second day we had a fantastic lunch with both Teresa and Francisco at Refugio do Ciclista. The lamb chops are highly recommended. The day was capped off with a winery tour and tasting at Casal Sta Maria. Delicious wine. The last day was a hike along the cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with Francisco. It started at Cabo da Roca and ended at Praia Adraga. Probably one of the best hikes we’ve EVER done. Stellar scenery, exposed in spots which provided wonderful views. We had a wonderful meal with Francisco at Restaurante da Adraga to end our three days of hiking. We highly recommend Walk Hike Portugal as a guiding company. …
