Believe me, i've think about it. Go up there and share the view with this majestic and imponent warrior up the hill. How on earth did they put the statue in there? Somone had a strong willing mind (and the means to do it...) Unfortunately,...More

A lovely hidden treasure on a walk around the palace gardens, I'd make sure you passed by this guy, it must be an awfully lonely existence.

This warrior guards the mystical forest of Sintra, which are definitely worth a visit. On a trip to Sintra´s palacio da Pena you will see the "Guardian Warrior" and be fond of its mystical presence. Worth a click with your camera.

Difficult to reach, but just follow the map they give you for the Pena Palace, it's views aren't better than the queens throne and the Cruz Alta, but still worth a hike. You can see the statue from the Palace as well!

Located inside the beautiful parque nacional da pena the statue is one of the peaks to climb. Probably the trickiest one. The reward for climbing the rock is another worthwhile perspective of the park and surroundings.
