Spent a few days at Arribas Hotel. Unfortunately we have had fog during 3 days. No sunset. The beach is wonderful for surfers but not recommended for swimmers and for kids. Rough sea but spectacular.

Came across this beach driving from Arenhos do Mar to Cabo da Roca. It is nice and wide, and has decent sized waves to enjoy body surfing. Cold though.

We visited this beach on a hot enough day water was freezing but it was still fabulous. The pool is a great feature and added to the beauty I thought. Definitely worth a visit

Praia grande is a big beach after its name. It's a sufing beach as well. Every year, on summer time we have a surf championship. It's a beach where the locals go. It's a family friendly beach.

Praia Grande is a great place to surf (or to just hang out and watch the surfers). If you do surf, a wetsuit is a must as the Atlantic can get a little brisk. But, the sand is extensive and a little bit of a...More
