lovely gardens and really fun exploring if you have the patient. The Duck Houses by itself are not amazing to see, but its more about the atmosphere around there

Its a park where Palace of Pena is situated. Its ok to walk around but nothing special to see. If you want to visit only park which is huge area it cost about 7 euros.

Make sure you visit this place. Very relaxing walk and not crowded at all. The park in the Pena Palace offers a world of opportunities to take some amazing pictures. Find the right angle and snap your picture!

The gardens of the palace were an unexpected surprise and ended up being one of my top 3 favorite experiences of Sintra! So much better than being herded through the underwhelming interior of the palace.

These ducks must been held in high regard by the king to have created a valley of lakes for the ducks to swim on with their own minature castle to sleep in.

I had no idea what this was until I looked this up on the internet. The whole park is magical and there was a black swan that followed us when we were walking alongside the lake.

Our tour guide stopped by the small lake and asked us what we thought the stone building in the centre was ? None of us guessed duck houses !!

The duck houses themselves are relatively unspectacular. Actually, the many pictures you'll see of them are very altered. However, they are a lovely end to the long walk down from Pena Palace through the park. It's a beautiful and serene place to sit for a...More

Interesting constructions and passages on the Park of Pena on your way to the Pena Palace. Just a lot to take pictures at.
