The beach is at the bottom of a very steep road.
It is impossible for visitors to access the intermediate car parks or even the one near the cafe on the beach. It is necessary to park in the paid parking at the top of the coast. Get it down. Up is another pair of sleeves when you're not 20 anymore. Young car park attendants lack a bit of empathy for their elders: none alerted us to the difficulty and did not suggest we park further down, although we saw more than a dozen cars doing so.

There were so many people who wanted to visit the small nice beach that you had to park up on the main road about 2 kilometers away. We hat before visited the place and drove directly down and parked at one of the restaurants.
We chose to drive to another beach and return outside the season, where there are probably fewer visitors.
So be prepared for a long walk to experience the little fine beach if you want to visit it in the peak season.

A beautiful little port situated inside the Arrabida National Park in Portugal. The port is very tranquil and relaxing it has three restaurants all serving speciality fish dishes with locally caught fish and seafood. Prices are not exorbitant and portions are substantial. The view is very beautiful and the port is a short walk to the Pria Creiro which is a wide sandy beach with calm sea that is very clean. The only downside is the carpark is very small and in high summer you might have a long walk to the port but the restaurants lay on a free bus if you book a table in advance.

It´s a perfect location for someone loving quiet beaches and clear water ocean. As it´s of difficult access it isn’t too crowded; inserted in beautiful and bucolic surroundings it seems like a small paradise. Full of maritime life and lots of hiking and diving opportunities.
Water shoes are important because a good part of the beach is a bit rocky.
Waterproof camera is a nice to have for great photo chances.

Lovely place with very nice, wild beach and landscapes. Very fine sand. Everything is great except there are little stones at the entrance in the water

The beach is beautiful with really clear waters. The access is very complicated. We stopped the car on the side of the road near a restaurant called Mafalda and walked all the way down to the beach.
There is a traffic light controlling the traffic in and out the beach which might cause some traffic on the high season.
All restaurants were full. Maybe it is a good idea to make reservations. We couldnt get seated anywhere.
Services seem not prepared for the amount of people in there. Hope it gets better in the summer.
Will come back to check cause the beach is really awesome and the village charming.

Set in a beautiful Natural Park, hidden away in a small bay is a fantastic beach with crystal clear water. Lots of small marine life, starfish, jellyfish, anemones, fish, sea snails, shells, sea weed just perfect for snorkeling or scuba. There are a couple of restaurants but I havent tried them. The beach is mostly sand but there are some areas with rocks, I recommend the use of water shoes to protect the feet not just because of the rocks but also because of urchins, specially for children. You need to go early as not that much parking available. After you park the shuttle will take you to the beach, I believe it runs from 9am and its every 20 minutes otherwise you can walk, its only a few minutes and you can hear the cicadas singing whilst you walk down.
