Nice place besides strange sculpture of Gulbenkian himself with a monstrous eagle.
Jan 2020
The great advantage of the Kaloust Gulbenkian Museum is the garden. It allows you to take a breath after viewing an Old Collection or relive viewing a very strange collection of modern art. Pond, turtles, creepers. I can't believe you're in Lisbon. The only thing that confuses is a strange sculpture of Gulbenkian himself with a monstrous eagle behind him. I think the taste has changed for the oil tycoon here.

Nice garden around the museum
Feb 2020 • Couples
I wouldn’t travel just for the gardens but I have to admit it was a pleasant green stroll on the way to the museum. Some nice fish and ducks in occupancy as well!

Great Museum
Jan 2020
The museum has a great mix of artefacts from textiles, pottery, furniture and paintings the price was very reasonable if not cheap for what is provided. The museum is spotless and with a great cafe.

Wonderful Park to relax
Jul 2019 • Couples
On a Hot day this huge Park is so relaxing and peacefull. Been there a few times before and it just feels like resting in paradise where you feel very cslm and easy. This is good Park to have a break of the busy noisy day. There are Green trees, lawns and lots of flowers and birds all around. Nice hills and cosy courners to have a nap and have picnics. This is the must if you stay a few days or more in Lisbon. I do love this spot a great deal. Not to mention the museum which is awesome.
This place you have to feel and see!

A Green Escape
Jan 2020 • Couples
This is a great place to escape the city. Lots of ducks and fish ponds. A lot of water features. There are paths for people with limited mobility. There was a cafeteria but it wasn't open when we were there. Would recommend.

Fabulous
On purchase of ticket the cashier explained how to download the free app that linked to descriptions of exhibits. The exhibition covers Egyptian times to the C20th including pottery, carpets, furniture, paintings and more. It is difficult to say how good all that is on display is. Not to be missed.

Easy access to booking but still had to get in line with those that didn’t have tickets. No will call. Also, audio tour was not free, it costs 2Euros & 10 Euro deposit.otherwise we’ll worth it!

Wonderful slightly aged park!
Sep 2019
Looking from the museum exhibition rooms into the garden gives a phantastic atmosphere. To then walk from one exhibition to the next through the park is just so relaxing.

Such peaceful gardens
Oct 2019
Coming from a small, overcrowded country, walking in this park was pure bliss. Unfortunately the museum was closed on a Tuesday unlike most other places that close on Monday. So check opening days and hours.
Although there's a notice saying tables shouldn't be hogged for studying and working in the cafe', it was difficult to find a table to eat outside. People with a bottle of water worked on their laptops for hours, women with a mere coffee just sat there reading for hours. I believe better observation of rules should be taken up.
