Some shopping and eating along the way as you climb up to the lovely Largo do Carmo. Hold on to your bags as there are gypsy thieves about.

We lived 5 days on this street near San Justa lift. Very cheerful street withlots of actors and musicians (everday different). Many shops, one shop is the oldest gloveshop in Lisbon.

Shops along this very short street leading to the fabulous Largo do Carmo. Mostly for tourists. Beware the gypsies who try to grab bags...they look like regular young women!
