This really is a very impressive church with some fantastic views over the city and also the castle opposite. Originally we thought this was St Anthony's but it is further down by the cathedral. Very fine inside and next door is an interesting model of...More

The tiled chapel and the Baroque cloister are the most interesting and impressive parts of the convent/church. There is no charge which is also nice. Because it's a little off the main tourist route and high on the hills above main Lisbon there are fewer...More

My wife and I had a short stop off in Lisbon whilst on a TUI cruiser and enjoyed the visit to this gem. It’s a little hard to find but it’s worth the effort. It’s very tranquil and atmospheric.

When you take tram 28 you find this igreja at the highest peak of the neighborhood Graça. The church is not that special, but you have to come here for the views and the typical neighborhood with little shops and markets.

The view is it's own reason to visit this area, but the church is really stunning. There is a peaceful room you can sit in and relax, and another with many little figures and paintings on the walls. It's a quick 5 minute walk through...More

We were very fortunate when we went to visit this church they were just beginning to have mass. It was our first experience to attend mass in Spanish/Portuguese. It was certainly an inspiration. The church interior is magnificent. The architecture of this building built in...More

If you are enjoying the views from Miradouro da Graça, stop by to see the interior of this church. Nice place to cool of on a hot day as well. Interesting ceiling decor. But if you have already seen too many churches, you can give...More
