A great experience!

This bookshop is a treasure for anyone looking for English literature of any sort in Lisbon. Eduarda has made it a cozy space as well, which makes browsing an enormous pleasure. It is in a great neighborhood, so stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful collection!

They have wonderful collection and all of them in English.. really nice and cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed, spend 2 hours there. And cannot wait to go back :)

This bookshop gives excellent service, has a stunning selection of books (fiction, non-fiction, children’s, adult) at very good prices and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!

Wonderful bookshop!

Affordable and good selection, not to mention the very friendly owner. If you're looking for an English book, definitely go to bookshop bivar... You'll find a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, and a wide range of books.

Tremendous Selection and Great Prices

We spent a couple of hours here. Pretty much all books run between 5 and 7 euros (with the occasional bargain selection or more expensive rarity). I was really impressed by the selection--fiction, non-fiction, and children. To a degree, you take what they have, rather than show up with a particular book in mind. But there's a lot to choose from and the proprietor, Lena, is delightful.

Great selection of second hand books in English. Mainly paperback novels for approx 5 euros each. Ideal if you run out of books on holiday. You can also part exchange the books you have already read. Essential to check website for opening times - it's not open every day or on weekday mornings
