Ok, this is partly my fault as I should have researched the subject a bit more. In advance of our 4 night stay in Lisbon, I decided to purchase a 3 day Lisbon Travel Card, 56Euros for 2 cards. I was sent a confirmation email on which there was a downloadable voucher to take to a Ticket office to exchange for a Travel Pass. You could not, however, download the vouchers in advance, it had to be done on the day of arrival. My vouchers downloaded ok, but an error message, with apology came up when trying to download my wife's vouchers. I was hoping that this would be resolved at a Ticket office at Lisbon Airport. I could not find Conet Pass office at the Airport despite the website suggesting there was. I tried the Metro station, but was told I had to go to a Rail Station. As it was late afternoon, we paid for additional Metro tickets to City Centre. The following day, I went to the Railway station but could only get a pass for me, and only 1 day. My wife's voucher would still not download. The following day I went to a different Rail Station but the operator there was very unhelpful. In short, I paid 56Euros for a service I did not receive.
We had to purchase separate Travel tickets for the rest of our stay. Ironically, the travel system, buses, trains and Metro were efficient, clean and quite cheap. If we return, we will certainly not make the same again. I feel scammed !!

I am reviewing LISBOA CARD for any tourists thinking of taking this card.
The underground network in Lisboa is very good. It costs approximately 6.60 Euros a day and includes the bus. However if you are thinking to take the Lisboa card including the transport with the Tram and pass to the Museum, I would definitely advise you not to do it. The Lisboa card costs 48 Euros for three days and it does not include all the entrances to the museum, you get a very small discount of 10 or 20 % to enter some of the museums. If I am in Lisbon again I would get day passes for the public transport and just pay full price for any museums I am interested in.

The best deal is a day ticket for eur 6.50 including trams. Buy at stations with debit or credit card. English available on machines.
If public transport is running, it's fine. Unfortunately, our experience is that the bus/tram often does not show up. The traffic in the city is total chaos. Bus, taxi etc. on the tram tracks. Bus 732 and 729 usually do not run. It is only possible after 5 p.m. or very early. Take tram line 28 even after 5 p.m., plenty of seats.
The bus or tram not showing up is very frustrating, especially when it is hot. Long live Uber!

Purchased 2 3 day passes prior to trip to Lisbon. I received a confirmation email and downloadable vouchers. Very limited info with this.
On arrival at the airport we could find no desk, the tourist info desk had very limited info. We were eventually advised that we needed to go to a railway station.
We then had to buy a metro ticket and go to a railway station rather than travel to destination.
We did this and found out that we needed to do this each day. The 3 day pass was 4 seperate 24 hour passes, which had to be activated each day at a rail ticket office.
This added complexity and time waste to each day.
The transport system is amazing this ticket is inconvenient at best. Once activated, it's easy to use. It does not include ferries.
There are better options

My experience with Conet Pass:
The pass took forever to become available so we had to purchase regular tickets anyway.
When they were finally available (is the scammer doing them by hand ? probably...) I went on a journey to try and exchange them. I was told only specific train Station in Lisbon can do that.
I go to one of these station (nice little walk), only to be told the person in charge of this is not working that day and I need to go to another station... using yet another train ticket while I've paid for a pass.
Anyway, I go there, queue up a bit, and to retrieve the pass I'm told I need to show an ID and that I can't exchange the pass for my family as they would need to be there physically.
More importantly that's when I discover that the names on the voucher DID NOT MATCH ours and had clearly nothing to do with us.
If it wasn't for conet pass the lisbon public transport would be lovely. I've sent them emails asking for refund but unsuprisingly haven't heard anything back. Today the email doesn't even work anymore...
I don't understand why Lisbon is not banning this scam artist from Italy, such bad publicity.

I was able to walk to most places. When I did use public transport, it was mainly the metro which was really easy to navigate. Clearly signposted, cheap and easy to use. Very clean and there is wifi in most stations including platforms. Trains are normally timely but at times there can be a bit of a gap between trains. Very good on the whole.

We ordered the 3 day conet pass for Lisbon online & received an email with a voucher showing a QR code. Unfortunately this is not something which can be used on the transport network & the website gives the impression you can trade the voucher for a paper ticket in local shops but having tried several, we found this was not the case. We had to go to a metro station to get the paper ticket, which we could have just bought anyway. A waste of a morning trying to sort out the tickets! Avoid using this website called Lisbon public transport. Rubbish.

During our month in Lisbon, we used the trams and Metro extensively, and even rode the bus a few times. It is an extensive and inexpensive system, safe and fairly easy to figure out. No long waits for a ride. Good public transit.

Public transport in Lisbon is cheap, clean, convenient, regular and ontime. We stayed in Lisbon several days and used , the train, the metro, trams and buses. It was quite easy and had no trouble at all. When in doubt we asked for directions and everyone we came into contact with were very helpful. Perhaps we were lucky but we had a great time.

Very misleading information on website. As I interpreted it I had bought a pass for 24hrs. What I ended up with and you couldn't see it before you bought it was two 1 hour travel cards. I went to one station to collect them and there was no one there. I walked to the next station, again no one in a ticket office. A security guard said we should buy a ticket to Oriente. A lady helped us in the kiosk who told us to use the machine. Not all the ticket parts came out. I couldn't be bothered to queue up again so did without the vouchers to museums.

I’m so confused. How do we find the train station in Lisbon from Baixa area, going to evora? I’ve looked up everything and still can’t get where I go to get on the train, not the metro. Help! Please.

Trains for day trips to Sintra and Cascasis how can I find the schedule
Written January 15, 2018
Trains for Cascais leave Lisbon's Cais do Sodre station every 20 minutes or so. The schedule is posted there and on line, but they are so frequent that you can just show up. Trains for Sintra leave from the Rossio station. Schedule is posted at the station and on line.
