Fairy tale-like neighborhood park which checks all boxes for families, lovers, single city dwellers, residents and tourists. A completely relaxing delight. Hopefully, this park will never change.

Jardim Da Estrela is a charming park on the 28 Tram route, about 10 minutes walk from the indoor market at Mercado de Campo de Ourique.

Come out of the Estrela basilica and cross the road. A lovely gem of a public space awaits. Exotic trees, African and European plants, poultry of all kinds. It's not for tourists but for locals, and it feels that way. Decompress here. Have a coffee...More

There are almost only local people in this wonderful park with nice old trees. The Estrela church is just across a big road.

This park is situated in a nice area of Lisbon. It's a quiet and beautiful green space in the city. On top you find the basilica. It's on the tram route to the cemetery of Prazeres.

Jardim da Estrela, also named Guerra Junqueiro Garden (later), started being built in 1842 and 10 years later was officially inaugurated. It has seen changes seen then. The garden has a great location and in a very romantic part of the city. It has cafés,...More
