Mercado de Campo de Ourique has something for everyone: if you’re hungry or just thirsty; in need of a meal or just a snack; healthy or sweet.
It’s well worth the visit to just stroll around and see what goodies they have to offer.
Very cool looking market were you can eat and buy good local food, drink good vine and bear. Market with soul. Everything is just nice. If you are somewere in that area, you should definitely visit this market.
Compared to the Time Out, this place was much quieter but much better as a result. We ordered delicious fresh oysters and grilled prawns, a couple of glasses of bubbles. Great food selection and waitress service for drinks. Worth the 10 minute walk from the...More
If you're going on Sunday, it opens at 10am but most food stalls don't start serving until noon. There are waitresses who come to your table and you can order beverages from them. Much more intimate setting than Mercado Ribeira, but also more off the...More
A busy covered food market also houses a large number of stalls selling a wide variety of dishes from several countries. Place your order, grab a stool (there are lots) and wait for the electronic alert to tell you that it's ready. A more relaxing...More

Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It is a bit further away from touristic lisbon but well worth a visit. Great sushi, deserts, steak, gin and generally anything you could want. Mostly locals as it is off the tourist track (but shouldn‘t be!)
We were recommended this place by a local, and since we were in the neighborhood visiting the Basilica Estrela, we decided to stop by for lunch.
We got here just after 11am, too late for the market but still a tad early for the food...More

It is not really a place where you will "get a table". There are many spots to eat and drink something, each with a few chairs. In the central aisle a lot of larger tables. Staying together with 10 people might be difficult, especially during lunch when it is crowded. Just go there for a few bites and a drink and have lunch/dinner elsewhere if it is too crowded.

we arrived at about 8 and it was busy and people seemed to hold on to their tables for a while. if you arrive earlier I think you would be OK. you may have to join a couple of tables together. I hope you have a good time.
