This is the second time that we have rented bikes from Bike Iberia and we'll definitely use them again. The first was Leon to Santiago following the Camino Frances in 2018 and this trip in 2019.
The bikes are well equipped as we specified with panniers, pannier rack and bar bag, helmet an, lock and tools (and some spare brake pads which came in useful). it was a lovely touch that they also included a water bottle and a camino credentials card - which you get stamped on route to prove your pilgrimage.
The team were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful exchanging numerous emails. the bikes we at our hotel when we arrived and we just dropped them off at the last destination, handed over the courier document and the receptionist did the rest.
it was a bonus that the rental period only charged for the days that we actually rode, but delivered them a day early so we actually had the bikes the night before which was great to familiarise ourselves with them.

We rented bikes from Bikeiberia while visiting Lisbon. We had so much fun riding to Belem and back. The bikes were in great condition. We were able to borrow helmets and locks. This was such a fun way to see the city. We tried to take the ferry over to the other side of the river, but since it was the weekend, the small ferry was running. Limited space for bikes meant we didn't get to go. Recommend getting there early to secure a spot for your bikes if you're planning on going across the river on the weekend.

Bike Iberia was great to deal with and the e-bikes we received were in excellent shape and very simple to use and charge. They gave us great advice as well. We took the train, with the bikes (easy) from Lisbon to Sintra and then biked to Porto where Bike Iberia picked up the bikes. In hindsight I would highly recommend biking from the north to the south because of the north-south wind. Also it would have been better to have a day in Sintra to see the castles, without having to worry about the security of the bikes. So either pick up the bikes in Lisbon and take them on the train to Porto (or wherever north) or have Bike Iberia ship them to you in Porto.

Lisbon is not ideally suited for bike riding although it does seem to get better. There are a number of bike routes but if you happen to be far from one, Googlemaps will not help you, as it does not give suggestons for bicycles. Bike Iberia kindly told me that's why they have a bikemap, but only after I returned the bike! The bike was fine, but I found the rental a little expensive, they could at least include the bikemap with the rental, garanteeing that way that their clients have all the information available to make the best of their rental, instead of charging extra (and actually even forgetting to mention they have a map until after my 2 day rental?).

As stated in many other reviews, we do strive to give suggestions and to show Guests routes around town. Not sure what happened, again we apologize.
Regarding the Bike Rental fees, from our logs you chose the most expensive among the Bikes offered for city riding. We do have different options available.
On the beginning of November, GoogleMaps introduced the Bicycle Route suggestions feature for Portugal!
Lisbon as been improving its bicycle infrastructure over the years in a very positive way!
Us, cycling in Lisbon on a daily basis, feel perfectly safe a comfortable in riding with traffic.
Still plenty of Bike Lanes, quiet roads and slow moving traffic, especially in the downtown!
We hope to welcome you some other time

We called to see if they had bikes available. They said they did at that time but could not guarantee that in 2 more hours or hold the bikes based on a phone call. When we got to the store, there were well over 50 bikes sitting in front of the shop. Then they said to rent the bikes we had to give them our credit card information for them to write on a piece of paper, or an actual passport as security. This was NOT mentioned on the phone and made us very uncomfortable. The bikes themselves were great, we were just disappointed with the process and service we received while renting them. The prices were also a bit steep considering I could rent a surfboard/wetsuit for a whole day for only 20 Euro...

Very friendly staff and good bikes. Helpful advice and relaxed experience. We used a normal push bike and cycles to Belem tower and back in 3 hours. The gears and breaks worked well.

We used BikeIberia to rent E-Bikes for our Camino de Santiago trek, from Porto on the Portuguese coastal route.
Maria was very helpful and answered all of my emails promptly. She helped me modify our booking and made sure we got everything we asked for.
Our bikes, while very basic as you'd expect from a rental, were exactly as described and took us reliably around 60km every day.
The E mountain bikes were delivered to our first hotel at Porto a day before we departed on our journey, and they were picked back up by the shipping company the day after we arrived at our last hotel at Santiago de Compostela.

Rented two city bikes from Bikeiberia and while they were basic they were ideal for our needs along the waterfront and then over to the southern side of the harbour to cycle out to theOcean beaches.
Helpful with maps, ferry timetables, emergency repair kit, suggestions on things to do and see along the way.
Rental at 25 euro for the day isn’t cheap but not outrageous either

Rented a bike for the day this week, to explore the Lisbon river front and going to Caparica beach, after taking the ferry from Belem to Trafaria. Once in Trafaria, Caparica beach is only 5km away, and road mostly has a bike lane and is fairly flat.
It was very easy to put the bike on the ferry, as it's also designed to carry cars.
Tanya from BikeIberia was very friendly, gave some good advice on the journey like ferry crossing times, where to stop (second ferry stop), and even offered some sun cream.
The bike rented was a Giant bike with 8 internal gears (one level up above their standard bike) and it was fine, in good condition and no issues. Free repair kit was provided. I didn't make a booking, just walked to the shop on the day.
Overall, a very good experience with BikeIberia and a great day cycling!

I cycled from Lisbon to Porto following approximately the route of the Camino Portuguese. It was challenging to keep on the right track. Thankfully the ebike I had was powerful enough to get me up the hills with a heavy load. I would recommend that each rider do a test ride for an hour or more to make sure the handlebars, seat and overall ergonomics of the bike are suitable for that persons size. The staff were very helpful especially when I ran into an electical problem in a small village. My text was answered promptly and the adjustment was made to correct the problem. Thank you.

Nous voudrions louer des vélos sur Lisbonne mais non n'avons pas de CB et tes peu d'espèce pour la caution...comment faire ? Car nous sommes passé chez vous et avons vu que la caution et de 200€...
