We booked 4 comfort touring bikes from New Zealand for a self organised bike tour. When we arrived at BikeIberia's shop the road outside was a shambles due to road works so they were operating under duress but our bikes were all ready fitted out as we had ordered, they were in excellent condition and gave us no problems on... The good: Bikeiberia is pretty responsive through email, and in the end after some uncomfortable uncertainty about their customer service attitude (getting different answers from different people in their office) they eventually promised to cover repair costs for one of the bikes amounting to about 130Euros. The bad: we rented 5 bikes, which turned out to be just decent and... More

Rented 2 mountain bikes for a Camino de Santiago trip and overall I was pleased with BikeIberia. We didn't have any major issues with the bikes and they were picked up and dropped off on schedule for a reasonable price. The only issues I had with mine was that the kickstand was basically useless, and I had requested flat pedals... More

We rented three Comfort Touring Bikes (Giant) and one Road Touring Bike (Cannondale) at Bikeiberia to cycle along the coast from Lisbon to Porto. Booking process and communication were uncomplicated and very quick and friendly. Their service to pick up the bikes at our hotel at the end of the tour was super. And the bikes were perfect for this... More

I'm sorry to say that I was extremely disappointed with Bike Iberia during our time in Portugal. While they were easy to plan our trip with and delivered the bikes and accessories on time, we then experienced a significant number of problems with my bike (the ladies bike) throughout our holiday which seriously reduced our ability to cycle as planned... As per all portuguese people involved in the tourism Industry, the employees there are very nice and friendly. This said, for carbon road bikes, they proved to be technically poor. Bottle holder installed upside down, no compatible pedals available (although they said we could bring our own shoes). Had to ride the bikes with no clip to the local Décathlon... More

Very good place, easy to find and friendly staff. We rented budget bikes for a day - cheap but comfortable to drive - and drove to Belem. So much fun! With bikes you see more than when walking or driving a car.

Everyone told me to go to Sintra- thought I knew it was steep and also knew I needed a guide. Not sure if I should rent a bike in Lisbon and take it on the train to get to Sintra, I read the reviews of this amazing bike shop in Sintra. It was even Sunday night, all of Portugal was... More

I went with a large group of friends on a 3-4 hour bike ride along the Lisbon waterfront. Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable and considerate. The Belen pastries were an unexpected treat during the ride back.

Wholly recommend Bikeiberia as friendly helpful bike hire team who can really help with ideas and also know costs of things like ferry crossings etc. We biked it over to the ferry, crossed to trafaria for €5:60 return and 30 mins later arrived at Costa da caparica beach which had lifeguards, restaurants and toilets. Brilliant day out and truly reassured... More
