- MarcusT101Reading, United Kingdom65 contributionsCombined ticket with the aquariumGot the combined ticket with the aquarium. Perfectly nice views over the coast. We did a circular route of 728 bus from Lisbon ferry port to the aquarium, one way on the cable car. There are lots of restaurants just as you exit the cable car and a partly tree covered walk way. We walked to the Centro Vasco da Gama to have a look at some shops. There is a metro station in there, which we took back to the centre of Lisbon.Visited May 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 5, 2023

It takes you from the oceanarium side to the other side, where you have a better view of the longest bridge in Europe. it’s a great view along the way, the people are nice, and it was worth it. I do recommend this if you are going to the oceanarium in Lisbon anyway…Visited May 2023Traveled soloWritten September 4, 2023
- Lynne YSt Columb Major, United Kingdom81 contributionsQuite a walk from the train station, be prepared.Docked in the port, visited Lisbon before, so looked for something different to do. Caught the train to Vasca de Gama shopping centre, had a mooch round - didn't buy anything only coffee & custard tarts. We then walked to the cable car - quite a way away. It was a hot day, so luckily a few seats to sit on in the shade. Some of the paving stones are quite dangerous, on the pathways to the cable car. 20 euros for 2 people was not really great value. Felt a tad let down as the views were not brilliant.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 3, 2023

We took this ride with the kids and had a great time. It was too hot inside, and a fan would have made a big difference. Other than that, the ride is pretty short but worth it. We really enjoyed it and can highly recommend it.

2nd time riding this gondola. It is a great ridefor a reasonable price of 7 euros a person. They take your picture and you can purchase it at the end. We did as it was only 10 euros and helps support the aquarium and nature programs, well worth the money. Ride is not long but views are excellent. Very comfortable, and ticket price includes round trip if you want.

We visited the Expo site and Vasco da Gama Mall on a Thursday afternoon. Then we walked along the river and came across this cable car ride. We had a returned trip rid for 8 Euro.
The whole ride took about 15 mins. It was enjoyable especially the weather was nice that day. You can see the river and the Expo site from a different angle.

We went today morning. Took the cable car from the Aquarium side. 7.5 Euro one way ticket and 9.5 Euro return. Lovely view. Please note that if you get on from Aquarium side, then only take one way ticket unless you also have to visit Aquarium and science museum ( this side ). All the other activities in this area are on the side near vasco da Gama bridge. We took return ticket but did not do a return. We took a train from vasco da Gama mall for our hotel.

This is in the very modern area around Vasco de Gamma Mall and the oceanarium. We bought the combo ticket with our oceanarium entry and enjoyed the ride afterward. It's so different from anything else we'd seen in Lisbon or Sintra - ultra modern. It wasn't too hot the day we did this and the gondola was quite warm - can't imagine doing it in the heat of a hot summer day.

We arrived shortly after they opened at 11am, and purchased our tickets at the gate. Very friendly staff and we were showed right onto the cab, no queuing.
A short 10 minute ride and well worth it for the views!

This is a relaxing enjoyable ride over the water along this area. The views are incredible. Also, you can buy a round trip, get off on the other end, and return after visiting the other side of the ride. It’s an excellent way to spend a few quiet moments in what can be an otherwise hectic touristing day.

Si bajamos del metro en Moscavide, se puede tomar la telecabina para llegar al Oceanário?

I arrived at the Oceanarium with a bus, and I didn’t use the metro at all while in Lisbon, so I don’t know.

Is this far from the shopping centre/metro station. Oceanario? Ideally, as we are visiting in January incase it's wet, don't fancy much of walk in rain. A return journey would be fine as we plan to visit oceanario before or after. Thanks.
