Quirky fun bar!

Hidden behind a blank door and up a staircase, you will certainly miss this spot when walking on the Pink street. This property was a brothel back in the day. Now the place is decorated in the fashion of a turn of the century bordello/dark boudoir. Velvet chairs, velvet curtains, chandeliers, mirrors, and lots of vintage nudes. Even the bathrooms are fun! They have a wide selection of drinks and cocktails; they are really good and fancy. It’s not the cheapest place around, expect to pay a little more than in most places in Lisbon but it's all about the atmosphere!
Great night out in an unusual place.

Extraordinary atmosphere

Very beautiful décoration and sexy atmosphere.
Special thanks to waitress Lipton. Many helpfull advices to choose our drinks. She is very kind and funny. We will come back for her and the bar.

Unexpected discovery

Definitely worth visiting, it could be the setting for a film. If you're a fan of kistch like me, you'll enjoy this bar. Apart from serving drinks, they have a sexshop with a wide range of products. I got my satisfyer there after a nice conversation with the woman in charge. You should go early if you want to avoid queues.

Pretty place, nice for pics

It's very nice inside and has a lot of rooms. But we waited for a waiter for a while so we got up to get our own drinks. Instead of the cocktail we asked for we got wine. If they didn't have it, they could just tell us. It was kinda weird. Then, took like half an hour to get acknowledged by a waiter when we wanted our second drink, it was uncomfortable and left us wondering why.

Too BAD the place si so great. We just came from our last night in Lisbonne and decided to go for the second Time at pensao Amor. First time was so great! But tonight is humiliating and wounding when you have someone dishonest. We ordered 2 cocktails and gave 30euros ( didnt know the price ). She gave us back 3e but the total was 17e (she gave us the Bill) so, we Ask where was the 10e rest?! Offusqued, she tried us to make believe That de gave only 20e, impossible because each of us gave money, we thought it was a around 25e and it was everything we had in our pocket. We asked her to count the cash from the beginning of her service, she would find the différence, she refused and Ask to someone to make us leave the place ! Great night !!

Violent and highly unfriendly security staff.

The place itself isn't bad at all, even being a little bit pricey for Lisbon, but what's really unbelievable is what steroids (?) can do to the brain of a person. Me and some friends were treated as garbage as soon as the bar stopped the music and the staff announced that they were closing. We had a couple of drinks to finish (which were sold to us some minutes before) and a gorilla (bouncer) just started to push us out to the street even not allowing a girl to use the toilet for one second even though the bar was still full, people still seating and chatting. An unbelievable sad ending for a fun night just because of a total lack of professionalism coming from the staff. We were physically threatened and (literally) pushed to the street. We were all peaceful people, 30+, not drunk, not problematic. Finally we got to speak to the manager and she sincerely apologized... saying that unfortunately it wasn't the first time. This isn't good news either. Be careful: the place is quite nice but you may get your bottom kicked for absolutely no reason, depending on the mood of the security guys. Very sad.

Terrible customer service

So disappointed with how our visit here turned out . Great building with great menu , however I ordered a cocktail that sounded lovely but turned out to taste really awful . When I approached the staff to please change it for a simpler drink after taking one sip of it , I was rudely refused . My initial waiter was understanding and about to replace it , however some female staff members got involved and decided it should not happen . I was told I should have asked more detail on the drink before ordering it and it was not their problem . I agreed it was not their problem but could not believe the complete lack of helpfulness and customer service . I was unable to drink the cocktail so all they would offer my in the end was a glass of tap water to replace it . Worst service I have ever encountered , really such a shame and walked away feeling I would have been much better looked after had a been a local Portuguese person rather than a tourist .

A great bar that should be on everyone's Lisbon bar list

Very cool place to relax and have some drinks. The decor is fantastic and it feels like you are in an old brothel. The drinks are inventive and delicious. Slightly pricy but that is to be expected for a high quality cocktail. A great place to grab a drink with friends. Worth going just for the decor alone but definitely grab a cocktail while you're there

Very nice place. There are always people outside queuing, and the place looks like it’s packed but the service is very fast. Staff working there is great. Very friendly bartenders, especially one (sorry I don’t know your name, man!). Many thanks to Miguel who looks after the place and make sure it’s save and everybody is having fun. I spent there my birthday and it was really great fun.
