Honestly I expected a bigger collection of historical costumes when I entered the museum. Entrance costs 6 EU with the gardens and museum of theatre that is within 5 min. walking distance. The museum has a collection of costumes, garments and accessories, dating from the...More

Close to the Museu do Teatro, it offers a complete display of historical costumes. The palace in which is located is nice, as are the adjacent gardens, even in their own right. It is a pity the early closing time (18.00), as they offer a...More

It's not in the centre of Lisbon. Many fashion pieces from different century. The building itself is worth to visit. Lovely garden. The garden is connecting the museum with 2 other museum.

This was definitely the most difficult museum to find - take a taxi or know how to use your GPS really well - but it was definitely worth the effort. The collection is quite good - especially the men's clothing - and the lovely faded...More
