What a perfect option for the hot hours. Sitting in moving vehicle in the shady narrow streets and let your arm hang out the open window while watching bars, cafes, shops, street musicians, Lisbon people passing by. Riding back and forth takes about an hour....More

This tram is tradition in Lisbon and if you are there you have to try it. It is fascinateting ride up and down to hills. Sometimes the tram goes so close to buildings that you can even touch them and people on a footpath have...More

What a great way to see Lisbon, it really is a fun experience and so reasonable (we got a 24 hour travel ticket which cost about 6 euros each). The only problem is the queues can be very long, so if you don't fancy standing...More

Wrist hopped on this Tran and had a ride each way for the experience. The road is barely wide enough for the team yet cars fight theocracy through. However BEWARE of the pick pockets. They will give you a friendly hug and steal your valuables...More

Overwhelmingly popular, tram 28 takes you through the buckling hills of Lisbon. It's a great way to get around and see the city if you do your research and are lucky. We went to catch the tram at around 7PM on Thursday. There was a...More

To get the full flavour, catch a northbound tram near start and take the whole run using Lisboa card. Much better for a true experience than the overpriced steam train rides in the UK!

Yes, this is a great way to see quite a bit of Lisbon. However, the Tram 28 is single carriage so it is very crowded....and the track is quite rough so if you don't get a seat, enjoy the ride hahaha Early morning or late...More

Tram 28 is inexpensive way to see Lisbon center. It goes along the main attractions over numerous hills and narrow winding streets. If you want to go on the same route with a "yellow bus" excursion tram it will cost you around €16, one trip...More

Couldn't get on despite waiting almost an hour at several stops. Probably not much better views from walking and actually not upset that we couldn't get on as I was afraid of getting mugged (read the "terrible" reviews)

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
"Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in
Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the
