Incredible journey through very narrow and steep streets. Get on at the terminal to get a seat. Reasonably priced and you see a very good cross-section of the city, new and old.

The man driving the tram the day we were on it can only be described as a sadist. I know sardines are popular in this area of the world, but to make humans feel like them is, well, inhumane. We got on early and got...More

I know the Tram 28 since I´ve born. For more than 34 years, I had the opportunity to see the Tram 28 pass in front of my house and during 10 years it was my transport to go to school (and go back home). Nowadays,...More

This tram is so typic for Lisbon, you really can't visit Lisbon without taking tram 28. The tram can get very crowdy at day time... so if you want to feel more relaxed, you can take it in the evening... less crowdy and less stops...

It is pretty nice to ride this tram line but it is far from easy. The carts are very small and almost always arrive full. If you're lucky some people get off so you can get on. It's like sardines in a tin and if...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its
