It's definitely worth stopping by there. You can view the boats and fish in the docks, you can also have a meal, or at least some refreshment in one of the many establishements here and enjoy the wonderful view of the bridge and the statue of Cristo Rei on the oposite bank. In the vicinity, you can also find a transportation museum and a train station from which you can cross the bridge via train if you wish to experience the ride.

We were surprised to stumble upon this waterfront development under the big bridge. It was really hopping on a Sunday in the Spring with lots of families out for lunch. Probably about 100 restaurants here, a huge success. And views of the yacht harbor.

This redeveloped yacht harbor lies just under the big bridge. Besides the nice boats, you will find a lot of restaurants with outdoor seating. Very popular on Sunday afternoons, especially in good weather.

Probably the first time I’ve experienced bad service in Lisbon. The staff that served us was VERY unfriendly and quite frankly, a bit rude. We had the brunch menu and they forgot to serve the fruits, yogurt and coffee that’s included on the menu. They’re also not flexible with the orders as well. Aside from the fact that the place wasn’t full, the service was also slow. The place is nice and all but I don’t think we will come back. We visited this place to see and try their food because I was planning to celebrate my son’s 2nd birthday there. But unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like a good idea. Didn’t expect this kind of service in a place where you spend at least €20 per person....

Doca de santa amaro is an excellent place for fresh sea food restaurants and for an afternoon walk.

This was our second visit to the area but last time we had gone inland to the LX Factory and hadn't seen this pleasant marina area. Amazing views of the bridge and the Christ statue.
Some of the restaurants here are a bit overpriced but we found one which was good value and got a great seat overlooking the water.

After several hours of walking around and sight seeing, we decided to stop here to relax for late lunch and drinks. It was less convenient than I would have liked to get there by public transportation, but if I remember correctly, there was a better choice (train?) that we did not figure out until it was too late. Plenty of restaurant and bar options. We had lunch and then just walked out to the bridge and took in the surroundings before stopping at a couple of other places for drinks and spent a few hours there overall. It was a beautiful day and a very laid back atmosphere everywhere. Plenty of outdoor dining or drinking options with a view.

The Docas have been cleverly modernised with a line of restaurants of different types
During the day, the view of the 25 of April Bridge is simply amazing and one can take a walk towards other landmarks nearby
During the night, it is lively and full of fun people from different parts of the world, enjoying the clubs and bars around

You can hear the noise of bridge and see the statue its full beauty. Enjoy the port and sun. and try vine in small restaurants in port.

A pretty marina, the lovely bridge and a selection of restaurants at converted warehouses. A great place to have a lazy long lunch.
Only drawback is the background noise of traffic and trains crossing the bridge. But don't let that put you off.
We are at an Italian restaurant with good food, outdoor seating and free wifi. What's not to like?!

Metro from Rossi to Cais Do Sodre, then from there you can travel by rail (separate ticket) to Alcantara-Mar, taking the Southern exit at the station it's a 100m walk to the start of the marina area. You can take a taxi too, there seems to always be a couple waiting there to take you back to the city centre. Or, you can carry on in the train to Belem, get some custard tarts and walk it off back to the Docas along the river. Maybe a mile and a half on a nice wide path.
