Is a good day out. Personally I prefer the beach but the kids absolutely loved it.
On the expensive side, but for 1/2 visits a year is okay.
The car park is very expensive and this should be looked again. For 1 afternoon we paid 10 euros.
Staff were friendly in particularly the lifeguards that were patient with the kids and took safety very serious

Nice swimming pool despite a crazy price (55 € for a 2p + 2e family) with health facilities from another age! The concept of using salt water is nice but not a single shower available in huge changing rooms to be able to wash afterwards. Very unpleasant also to be searched at the entrance...

Really nice place to spent time with your kids, however attention is required because some adults behave like a kida whe entry in to the water or running outside. The price looks exagerated and the bar needs to be refurbished.

There is not a lot of public pools in Lisbon. This though is a very nice and large pool area with lots of beds. Has a 2 feet deep large child pool as well. Go from metrostation Cais do Sodré and take the train (about 20 min) to Oeiras or Cascais. Get off at Oerias. Then take a 10 min taxi (6 euros) to the pool. Submission around 9 euros. 6 for child. 19 for family. Same way back but than the other way around.

This could be a great place to go and enjoy a sea water pool with good infrastructures and great view over the sea coast. However, it seems like it us a pool to support and maintain a restaurant and parking company.
Want to go with your chlidren? Just forget it. Or you have lots of money to buy food at expensive local pool bar-restaurant or your will need to stay without eating all your stay. You cannot take your own food inside. Caught eating a cookie? Guard alert. Your kid eating an apple? Guard alert! You can only take water.
You all can not put sun protector cream. It might ruin the quality of the water. But you can buy one inside that is allowed.
Parking a car all day? Pay the super expensive park all around.
Am i ever returning? Not at all.

While driving from Lisbon to Cascais, we found this part of the beach. Next to it there is some Fort and there are many surfers in this beach. See pictures.

My friends and i recently visited Lisbon and we are all a fan of outdoor pool days to swim and soak up the sun but unfortunately this is what Lisbon lacks unless you are in a hotel with an outdoor pool. I went on-line and found this place on Tripadvisor and then followed up with the actual website to make sure it was still open.
If yoy are staying in the center of Lisbon then travel to Cais de Sodre station and jump on the train that heads to Cascais, there is one every 20 minutes usually. The stop to get off at it Sata Amaro and then walk down towards the beach. Once at the beach go right and walk along the path that follows the beach round the coast in the direction of the sea (away from the direction of Lisbon). You will come to the Marina where the shops are and boats are moored and you will see the pool from there, the entrance is at the back of the building.
On a weekday the pool costs 7 euros for a half day (1pm to close) and on a weekend it is 11 euros for the same amount of time, i am unsure of what the whole day price is as we were not there at that time.
The pool itself is great but it is salt water so if you have sensitive eyes then take goggles. The divings boards are open in alternating goes. The 1 meter and 3 meter open till 4pm and then the 5 meter and 7.5 meter open from 4pm onwards. 5 people are allowed up each time to control the crowd. The 7.5 meter is ace and is incredibly high, even more so when you get up there and you catch about 1 full second and a half of air time if you take a run and jump out. Note:canon balls of this board are incredibly awesome but incredibly sore!
The poolisde bar boasts a range of fast food for lunch, ice creams and lollies and drinks both normal and alcoholic. The beer is Estrella and is on tap but you can only buy it in small cups at 1.75 a go which is a disappointment.
In peak months this place is extremely busy so if you are hoping to get a sun lounger and umbrella then go early or you will be subject to camping out on the grass with your towel, which is also fine by the way everyone was doing it :).
The changing rooms are massive with plenty of lockers, toilets, sinks and showers. The hotwater is always piping so beware with small children.
All in all me my friends and i had a great time and have said that when we visit Lisbon again we will stay up the coast closer to the pool so we can go more often.
Enjoy your trip :)

but very expensive entry. Don't know what the ppl think about an entry of 11.10€ and there is only a pool, old lounges a very old bar.
Yes there is a diving platform, but also old. Some lounges are broken and dirty. The bathroom is very old and for a pool looks a little disgusting.
Very nice, pool has salt water not with chlorine.
If you don't like or cannot go to the beach a good alternate, but price and offer is undue

Salty water in a swimming pool.
A little bit crowdy in the summer.
Go during spring and you will enjoy the Oeiras sun.
