The building is charming and the location aswell. Very hipster-y bar and drinks. Not particularly friendly service but at the same time, was not expecting it either.

But man I need to warn you about the sound, which will almost break your ears. I was seated in the last row in the last seat and the music being experimental electro, which I usually enjoy a lot, I had to leave in the middle of the concert to save my ears. I work in music and truly have not experienced a worse sound anywhere. My ears were still ringing two days after, even though I was wearing earpads.

Please mister Mixing engineer man, turn the sound down!! It does not work in that tiny space anyway!

Art gallery, book store and a venue for gigs, this is mostly known among locals offering a superb line up of artists from what I have seen. Great spot.

I hired this venue for a private, fundraising party. The manager was excellent to work with. The bar staff were great too. They had all the equipment needed for the DJ to spin his discs. Drinks were very reasonable, and the venue was a series of small, interconnected rooms where you could chat or dance; in a shabby chic style

This pleasant gallery/social space is spread over four floors. A bookshop is situated by the entrance and a cinema/open plan area on the second, including a bar. Discussions about art and architecture were held today and were well attended. Afterwards discussants headed to the 4th floor, good value, bar for a drink and smoke on the terrace. It exudes a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere and is staffed by lovely people.

Fantastic informal cultural centre supporting innovative indie artists coming to Lisbon. If you are not part of the "mass tourism" invading Lisbon in nowadays this the place to go. No fancy decoration only real art, young generous and nice young people living their lives happily.

A really nice place, nice music, but i was in a humongous stress with the delay and bad customer support from the people working in the bar. A little too posh for me!

I love Zé dos Bois. I have seen some of my favorite concerts in this place namely Master Musicians of Bukakke, Glenn Jones, Dead Combo, Rui de Carvalo.

In here you can find some of the best music acts from Portugal and a lot of alternative stuff from the rest of the world.

The ambient is great, kinda has an underground feel to it and the people who come here all respect the mood of a concert. The price of the concerts are also quite affordable, great bands for less than 10€.

If you want to check some great music in an historic neighbourhood of Lisbon, this is certainly the place to go. After the concerts you can always experience the nightlife of Lisbon.
