Great open space to walk with great view of city to river. Benches along the way to rest if needed, very sunny and hot in middle of the day

Lovely area with great panoramic views of the city looking down the park. I love the large Portuguese flag proudly flapping in the breeze.

Some friends and I went to visit the botanical gardens after another friend recommended it. I am so glad we went! So many plants, birds, and very beautifully arranged. It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
