This bar is nestled into some stairs in a popular Lisboa district. We fancied a wee dram on the way to our next tourist spot and ended up enjoying a long shot of local port. Definitely worth a visit , especially if the weather permits you to soak up the sunshine on the small outdoor tables.

This tiny little bar is at the foot of some old steps close to Rossio station. It was an impulse purchase to give us some dutch courage for tackling the staircase up. It seems others had the same idea when seeing us with our shot of ginginha.

Guy was friendly, really refreshing and can even have it out of a chocolate glass but don’t forget your free refill as the chocolate glass is smaller 😂

We found this place specifically because they serve their liquor in chocolate cups. They’re small, but honestly that’s for the better. They provide two shots: one to just sip the liquor, and then the second to eat with the whole cup. The flavor combination of the two together works really well, although l wish they had served a sour cherry so we could try all three together.
