In Lisbon for a couple of days and really wanted to go see Sintra but didn't want to catch PT or a bus. Knew it was going to be a long day so, wanted to add a degree of novelty & adventure to the experience and we were not disappointed. The ride along the coast and on tracks that only... More

We saw this tour on Viator a couple months ago and booked it! Daniel the owner picked us up at our hotel and explained how he was going to give us a little fun history of Portugal and Lisbon. Everywhere he took us had a interesting background and story told with a sense of humor (essential for us)😍 He stopped... More

After several emails with Daniel, we had arranged for a morning side car tour of Lisbon. We had been told that they would be picking us up at our hotel at 10:00 am, so we were sitting out front of our hotel at 9:45 am, just in case he was a few minutes early. At 10:30 am, there was still... More

We had done one of these in Barcelona, which was totally cool; this one also did not disappoint. Our driver was extremely friendly, informative, and safe. He took us all around to some key areas of the city. Some great vantage points; neat back streets, and pointed out numerous major tourist attractions, while avoiding large crowds and traffic bottlenecks. One... More

It was just amazing and fun! Experience major attractive Lisboa treasures and overviews in just a few hours, with a cool black vintage motorbike sidecar. Everybody looks at you and you will also enjoy it. Worth while for the price, and it will also gives you a general geometric sense and knowledges to walk by yourself afterwards. I would love... My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Lisbon. Daniel arrived promptly at our hotel and off we went. It was great fun and safe, up and down the hills we went. The tour was very informative and comprehensive and we felt it gave us an excellent introduction to the beautiful city of Lisbon.

Katherine and I really enjoyed the comprehensive Tour of Lisbon on the 22nd Aug, was meant to be for 5 hours but ended up nearly 7 hours, you really brought History to life, Daniel, fabulous way to see the city.

This was the best thing we did in Lisbon. My wife is pregnant and this was a safe, fun, and easy way to explore a city with so many hills and beautiful views, that are otherwise hard for a pregnant girl to see! Daniel was charming, funny, knowledgeable and accommodating and it was a pleasure spending a few hours with... More

Staying in Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria

Neighborhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
