Luisa was our guide for two private walking tours: Sintra, and Lisbon. You could not have a better introduction to both places! Luisa takes regular classes on updates (one she’d had the week prior, with info on new discoveries made at the National Palace), and is extremely knowledgeable. We booked the first tour the morning after arriving in Portugal. Luisa met us at our hotel in Sintra (Chalet Saudade) and as we walked through the town, began to explain about the history of Portugal and the town. Just before arriving, I’d injured my knee, so was a little concerned about the hilly nature of the town, but she made sure that we took the best routes. We spent more than an hour walking through the National Palace - which was wonderful - as she pointed out things we’d never have noticed. From there we walked to the Quinta da Regaleira, seeing the Initiation Well, tower, gardens and buildings, and noting all the Masonic influences. Our second tour with Luisa was two days later in Lisbon, where she had already purchased transportation tickets on the bus. She not only showed us most of the city, she gave us the critical !!!! information about where the elevators and the Gloria funicular were to easily get up to Baixa and to Alfama. That alone was worth it, because Lisbon is a very confusing (and hilly) city. She also treated us to a pastel de nata at the bakery that most recently won the award. :) As we continued our trip, we repeatedly talked about how we’d have been lost without her initiation. We cannot recommend her company highly enough. Thank you so much, Luisa!

Pedro Costa eSilva @ Tempo VIP . If you are looking for a sincere, knowledgeable guide to show you the ropes in Lisbon then you have found your guide. Wanting to take you where you want to go he will ask immediately what interests you. Is it cultural, museums, history , culinary or all of them .. he was a wealth of information. Even stopped for desert and coffee so we could get a “taste” of the local food and people. Highly recommended

We used Isabel on a half day walking tour of Lisbon and then a full day trip to Sintra and the coast. We really appreciated the depth of her knowledge and charming personality. On the half day tour we managed to walk and orient both hills around the old town. The got fully oriented, figured out how to use the transit system and got a taste of several neighborhoods. On our dY trip to Sintra we beat the crowd and got tons of information. We recommend Isabel to others.

We are a party of 4 part of a group of 12. We were looked after wonderfully well by Ines, and nothing was any trouble! And she has a charming sense of humour. Of course, her local and cultural knowledge were excellent. It was a total pleasure to be in her company.
