My fiancée and I visited wonderful Portugal at the end of May and only had a few days in Lisbon. We wanted a walking tour on our first day to orient ourselves to the city. We are so glad we booked the private walking tour and had our guide Margarida. We often do walking tours when we travel, and Margarida... More

Excellent tour of the Pene Palace at Sintra, visiting the town, going to the Western most point of Europe, then stopping in Caiscais, and driving around the coast back to Lisbon. A long day, and for the palace please be sure to have comfortable shoes! Our tour guide Louis was excellent - full of stories and information all day long,... More

First if you ever go with Inside Lisbon, ask for Harald. I never had a tour guide who cared so much on whether his folks are having fun and accommodated to everything they needed. And doing so genuinely and not for tip or a good review on Trip Advisor. In addition, he has a very interesting life story. From being... More

We only have limited time in Lisbon but was greedy to get the most experience of Lisbon. Walking is the best way to cover Lisbon city, considering the traffic in city. Walking on the cobble stone which uneven obviously need a very VERY comfortable walking shoes. We stayed at Marriott Lisbon, which away from the city. Took a Über from... More

We had a fantastic tour of Lisbon with Sophia. She took us to some great look outs to see the city from all around. She also took us past many of the places that we wanted to visit. As we walked we learned about the history or Lisbon and Portugal. She also gave us some recommendations for things to do... More

We spent a week in Lisbon in April. We took two tours with Inside Lisbon. We spent several hours with Tiago walking through Lisbon at the start of our trip. He is an excellent, charming, and accommodating guide. We also went on the tapas tour with Tiago. The tapas and show were very touristy. The company was excellent. Tiago was... More

My partner and I did two separate tours with Inside Lisbon around 3 weeks ago. (Sintra and Obidos) The pickup location was great and well organised. Very efficient considering the large number of people they have to sort into groups. The vehicles we traveled in on both days were great. Very comfortable with air conditioning. We had Jaime for the... More

Gonçalo was our guide. We took this tour in an air conditioned Mercedes van. This was a relatively new van and was very comfortable. Our guide spoke very good English and had a very broad knowledge of Portugal and its history. He was informative and entertaining and an excellent driver. We went to Pena castle which was well preserved, then to... More

The Sintra trip was fantastic, and our guide Gonçalo was superb. He was very knowledgeable about all the places on the tour, and his driving skills were second to none (especially in the narrow streets of Sintra). Definitely recommend this tour. The Arrabida Wine tour was extremely relaxing, especially after a glass or two of the local wines. We visited... More

We took a wonderful day trip to Sintra and Cascais with Gonçalo. He was very personable, considerate, and knowledgeable. My husband, teenaged son, and I learned a great deal from Gonçalo, and enjoyed spending the day with him. It truly was one of the highlights of our four day visit to Lisbon.
