You will find this clock if you cross over the dual carriageway and tramline from the Statue of 1st Duque of Terceira. Big Ben it certainly is not. Only of interest to someone who is a clock enthusiast. It is set in a white stone wall and has a dark green canopy to protect it from the elements. Until 2008 it was the official timepiece for the country.

This clock supposedly has been the official time keeper of Portugal for the last century. It's clearly electric and clearly no longer the official time keeper. It's embedded in a 20ft tool structure, below an overhang. Looking at it from a distance it looks like an eye with false eye lashes. The clock is located close the the station with the same name as well as the Tagus river.
