This is an excellent walking tour company to explore Lisbon. It’s a free tour (you pay what you wish at the end). I highly recommend booking on your first day and opt for a morning slot if you can so you have the afternoon to explore solo. It really helps get your bearings of the city. Rita was our tour guide, she did an excellent job and did not disappoint. She was super friendly, funny, gave good tips and advice, and taught us a lot about the city. You get to explore most of the key areas and learn so much about some of the buildings / structures we would never have known about if it wasn't for the tour. We got some tasty treats along the way and experienced our first introduction to ginjinha (if you can, do try this drink, it was yummy). On a separate note, I also love the company branding, the gnome is really cute and it stood out. Overall an excellent and enjoyable experience, it was a great introduction to Lisbon, make sure to wear comfy shoes!

Our first full day in Lisbon we decided to set out on foot and see the city up close and personal, wonderful decision, as Fraga turned out to be AMAZING! We were the only English speakers to show up that morning, so we had a very personalized tour and answers at our fingertips, with authentic spunk, kindness, and knowledge. We covered a lot of ground and a lot of history, but it was executed with personality and authenticity. My only regret was not leaving more Euros, we were not familiar with these “free” tours so after reading numerous reviews we decided on $15E/person. After seeing prices around town for services, food, etc. I wish I would have left at least 20E/person!

I have been to many Free Walking Tours in many different cities and countries and I can 100% say that this was THE BEST BY FAR. I picked this tour just because its times were more suitable for me, if only I could have this much luck in every coin-flip decision I make.. Our guide was Fraga, which is the best guide I’ve seen so far (among the both free and non-free tours I’ve been). He was symphatetic, friendly, funny and super knowledgable. What I especially loved is that you can definitely tell that he doesn’t do this only for money, but you actually can see how much he loves his city himself. I learned a lot not only about Lisbon’s history but also about Portugal’s history. It was longer than the usual walking tours, but I can totally say that it is worth the effort as Fraga will show you almost any important part of the city.
I definitely, definitely, definitely recommend this tour. In fact, can I give more than 5 stars? :)

Our tour yesterday with Sara, was fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the beautiful city of Lisbon, we learnt so much that isn't in the guide books. I'd 100% recommend this tour to anyone, but make sure you've got your walking boots on!

We participated in the tour guided by Fraga - it was about history of Portugal with some fun facts about culture. Fraga was a great guide, really accesible - we could ask him any question. He has a unique style of storytelling, he takes care of the group - e.g. He makes stops in the places with shadow which is importand in such a hot weather. He drives attention and people enjoy listening to his stories. We found out a lot about Portugal and we saw great deal of the city. It is really worth tour to participate in.

We met friends for a visit to Lisbon, none of us had been before.
When we met in Madrid pre covid we took a ‘free’ City Walking Tour. That was fantastic and we learned so much we chose to do it again.
What a great decision and an even better choice.
We met in the city centre and having pre booked online, it was easy on arrival to register and await the full group.
A large English speaking group was split in to two smaller groups and we were greeted by Francisco.
What a nice fella, clear speaking, articulate and extremely knowledgeable.
He showed a real passion for his job and shared a mass of information with obvious enjoyment.
Francisco interacted with all the group engaging in conversation as we travelled between landmarks or points of interest.
The walk was not too demanding although 56 I am still reasonably fit and active but this walk could have been tackled by visitors less mobile than I. It is a city on a hill so some ascending is required but as stated, quite easy to negotiate.
We walked various districts of the city with Francisco imparting information as we did so.
We had a stop off for a taste of real culture, in a bakery, worth the walk for this alone!
Francisco was an outstanding guide and the information he has stored appears endless. We learned so much and although some we will undoubtedly forget, there is plenty we will remember for a long time.
This is a ‘free’ tour with a payment at the conclusion should you feel that the guide warrants it. Francisco was excellent and everybody agreed.
This is a worthwhile activity and a great way to learn about the city before you embark on your own adventures within it.
The entire experience was a pleasure to be part of and so easy to join, simply look for the walk and enter online.
The rest is a walk in the park, or city!!
Highly recommend

During our trip we booked a tip-based tour in every city we stayed at least a few days. In Lisbon we were incredibly lucky to have Crespo as our guide. A charming, witty and honest guy who managed to guide us through the narrow streets of Lisbon, telling us it’s history in s very entertaining way while showing us secret places and hidden gems all over the city.
As June is a pure party month in Lisbon and many streets are pact with artists, stages, and many street shops, he spontaneously had to change his usual route but as the tour was about Lisboa’s personality and getting to know the city, it was not important to walk exactly the same streets as planned. We did not want to see Lisbon but we wanted to get to know Lisbon - and we did.
Thanks our very much for the tour - very well done!

Obrigada!

We were so lucky to sign up for Free-Tour - "Essential History, Fun Facts, and Free Tastings" with Bruno! What an enthusiastic person who loves what he does! He is smart, funny, and very considerate of everyone in the group.
All the stories and historical facts he was telling us in such a passionate way that the only reaction of all of us in the group was “please, tell us more”.
I think if Bruno would say he will continue explaining for a couple of hours more, everyone would say “YAAAS, please”.
I am so happy that I am leaving Lisbon with a better knowledge of local history, and culture and that I found an outstanding tour guide I will always remember and recommend to anyone who visits Lisbon. Thank you.

We did the tour in English with Rita, she was great! You cover the key areas of Lisbon historical center and learn a lot about the history of the country and the city. Make sure you have comfortable footwear. The meeting point is the Camões Monument in Largo the Camões and they are identified by a black umbrella. This is a pay what you wish tour.

Together with 7 friends we booked a free walking tour with Tours Of My Life in Lisbon. The total group of people participating in the tour was about 30, our guide was Bruno, the language spoken was English and it lasted for about 3.5 hours.
Bruno is an amazing storyteller and guide! On the walking tour we learned so much about the city's history, culture, and hidden gems. Bruno is very passionate about what he does, and he made the tour fun and engaging. He also gave us great tips about food and places to see in Lisbon and Sintra (which I recommend to everyone to visit since is not that far from Lisbon)
I highly recommend Bruno's city tour of Lisbon. He is an amazing guide, and he will make sure that you have a great time learning about the city.
