I booked the Tagus river dolphin tour via the Oceanario website and the tour was amazing. One of the best experiemces I had in my life. I was on the tour on Friday the 22nd of September and we got to see common dolphins swimming out in the Atlantic Ocean. It was absolutely magical. The marine biologist with us which acted as a tour guide taught us a lot off fantastic information about the dolphins and she spoke excellent wnglish so it was very easy to understand what she was saying. Also the boat driver and in general the whole crew at the office were very welcoming and helpful. I wojld definitely reccomend this tour. Unfortunately we did get to see a dead dolphin floating in the sea but as our guide said it is part of the wild life experience. In additio. to the dolohins they gave us a quick tour of some of Lisbon's famous sights by the river and we got to see a lot of jellyfish near the mouth of the river. Good job to everykne and I hope I can clme back and see new types of dolphins next time.

Unfortunately sometimes we get to see this things as part of their circle of life or even as part of the human impact in marine life.

Viewing the city and it’s surroundings from the Tagus was relaxing. The sunset was gorgeous. The catamaran’s size was perfect. Maybe 12 people total. My wife and I spent most of the time outside at the front where there was a padded couch-like area for about six people without being crowded. The cabin had much seating as well. Tomas and Zah(Spelling? Sorry) we’re extremely friendly and informative about the history of what we were seeing. Also, the marina where you are picked up is nice and has many great restaurants. This tour is a MUST. Thanks guys. I enjoyed our chat Tomash. Good luck with your Masters.

Words can’t describe what a gem it is. I had a pleasure to attend sailing lessons. The place and all team are incredible. Starting from the most thoughtful and amazing owner Bernardo, fabulous skipper Francisco Silva, support team Vasco and lovely admin Dillma. They all go above and beyond to make you feel at easy, welcomed and happy! Highly recommended 😘❤️

One of the many nautic offers of Terra Incognita we have chosen was Dolphing Watching. That really was a lucky decision. We had the pleasure of being on a speedboat driven by Bernardo who was a excellent navigator. He did not only know haw to manage the boat comfortably and to approach the dolhins carefully but gave
good explanations. Ines, marine biologist, explained the life and behaviour of the dolphins. Her deep knowledge, allows her to answer all questions about dolphins.
After an exiting period of watching the dolphins Bernardo showed all hotspots of sightseeing from the river. Amazing.
I only can say thank you very much for this remarkable trip and promise to come back next year.
So if you, dear reader, spend time in Lisbon and want an extraordinary experience go to Terra Incognita and make a tour with this wonderful people

We live in Lisbon and had visitors who wanted a sailing excursion so we booked a sunset cruise. First of all, the boat is beautiful. It is an absolutely gorgeous and spacious catamaran. The captain João and first mate Jeanne were wonderful. They truly made everyone feel like family. The very reasonable price included a beer/wine as well as delicious snacks. As an extra bonus, Jeanne gave us a bit of a history lesson as we sailed along the Tagus. We’ll be returning for another cruise at the end of the month when my dad comes for a visit. 👍👍

I was excited to see the BMW sailing monos during our bike ride along the river- so I stopped in to book a trip with the very friendly hostess. Unfortunately the wind was too high for our sail, but instead of simply canceling and potentially ruining our evening, they were able to transition us into a beautiful sunset tour that was really a great silver lining. Great skipper, A WONDERFUL local perspective and history talk from the deck hand, blankets, wine, small snacks, relaxed atmosphere, music- just perfect! Would recommend 100 times over, and even if it’s couples- plenty of room on the boat to have your own space!

This was one of our favorite experiences in Portugal! The views were amazing, the staff was so friendly and the entire experience was so wonderful. I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Lisbon. The boat was beautiful and everyone was able to fit comfortably on the front of the boat. The service was excellent!

The meeting point is at Doca de Santo Amaro, just under the bridge at BMW Sailing Academy building. The departure time is 16:00 an it will end at 18:00 on the same location.
