Venture inside this assuming façade and be transported into beauty. The church is overshadowed by the Se, but if it is open you will definitely want to go inside as well as the church across the street which is also very beautiful. The city comes...More

Recommended to us as a place with mass in English. We found it and decided the inside was as pretty as any church we had seen in Portugal. Lots or color and painting. And yes they had mass in English but too late for us.

We were blessed to attend an English Mass in this gorgeous church on Sunday afternoon at 5:30 on a recent trip to Lisbon in May 2018. Highlight of our trip!

The church is a less visited church right net to the Praca Luis de Camoes. The wall painting on the upper levels is the most impressive paintings I have seen in the churches of Lisbon. Well worth a visit.

This church is amazing and beautiful. Go inside and experience not just inner peace but also a relaxing time, away from all the outside street noise and confusion. I attended a weekday mass here.

As we approached this church one of the signs they used outside it made us laugh. An attendant of the church rushed out of the doors and told us off- even though we hadn't even got inside the church. A service was taking place in...More

This is a lovely church, located next to a small square. The church features some of the most stunning ceilings we've seen in Lisbon and despite not being popular with tourists, it's highly recommended to at least pass by and peek at the magnificent ceiling.
