Cruised into Lisbon and took Private tour to Fatima with Diogo, one of the nicest guy's we have had the pleasure to tour with! Diogo kept us entertained on the long ride to and from Fatima with Lisbon and Fatima history, he even played some authentic Lisbon music for us and then gave us CD's. He took care of every detail for us, down to securing Fatima Holy Cards and Pamphlets for us so we would have more time enjoying our visit. On the return trip, he went out of his way to take us to downtown Lisbon to get my daughter a Hardrock Shirt...Thank you Diogo!!! We are planning on a return trip for a wedding next summer...I wouldn't think of touring with anyone else when we return!! Be sure to request Diogo for your next Tour!!

Booked a Fatima Sanctuary Private tour through Get Your Guide and the tour was provided by Diogo of Sintra Magik tours. Diogo was an excellent guide offering various suggestions about the visit and explained in great detail all the facts and information not only about Fatima but also other interesting information about Portugal and its history. I was in Lisbon airport for a 12-hour layover and am VERY GLAD that I took this tour. I recommend this trip to anyone looking for not only religious history but also history in general.

My wife and I booked a private tour of Fatima with this company. We did it online and it was very easy. We thought that the price was reasonable and was less than several other companies we considered. Our guide was Madalena (I may not be spelling it correctly). She picked us up at our hotel in Lisbon at exactly 9 am. We drove directly out to Fatima. She gave us a great overview of the shrine and explained all of the key features and events. She walked us around the shrine. She then gave us free time to explore the things that most interested us by ourselves. We then went to the village of the three children. This was a great feature of the tour since it gave us perspective on their lives and that of their families. She introduced us to the niece of the children who still owns the family homes and operates a small gift shop. She then drove us to the medieval town of Obidos. We really enjoyed this part of the tour. We had lunch there and walked all around. It rounded out the day very well. She brought us back to the hotel and we arrived at about 5 pm.

When we signed up to go to Fatima while visiting Portugal, I had no idea what to expect. It is a hard experience to put into words, if you enjoy visiting spiritual, religious places - or are interested in history…this is a beautiful experience. One reviewer described it as "Faith Filled" & it is just that. We truly enjoyed this tour - a day well spent! From here we went to the ancient city of Obidos…I would recommend that as well.

The story of Fatima is so beautiful and faith filled. We hired a private car to take us from Lisbon (about 1 1/2 hours away)…worth every minute. We went to the children/shepherd's home(s), then to where the vision(s) occurred. Then we went to the chapel and older and newer cathedrals are located. We were blessed to be there while a rosary was in progress. There are daily masses scheduled too. Apparently at night, it is quite beautiful with lights. This is a must see if you are near…it is spiritually uplifting and humbling!
