Best place to rent a bike! Daniel is a man to go to when it comes to cycling around Cascais and Lisbon. Rented the bike for a day, which proved to be the best bike I have ever ridden - full carbon, ultra light road bike - something you normally don't see for hire. I had an amazing trip, riding from Cascais pass Guicho to Cintra and back. Nice circuit of 60-70km depending how many detours you take on the way. The trip was one of the highlights of my trip to Portugal. Exploring a fairytale countryside on the bike is simply magical... I was a bit late returning back, but Daniel was very kind and waited for me. One appreciates people who have a passion which they want to share with others... I went solo, but he is always happy to offer a guided tour, if you are a bit scared to get lost. I will not be suprised if you get inspired to do more cycling trips after meeting him. I will be back next time I am in Portugal for sure!

We rented two road bikes with Daniel during our stay in Fontanelas. Daniel was really great - he answers every message within minutes, the bike delivery went smoothly and he even took the time to deliver another smaller bike for me. Great service, great value, great communication - absolutely recommendable!!

I rented a fantastic bike (Canyon Endurace) from Daniel at Portugal Bike Rent for 5 days whilst on holiday in August this year. I think he has a full range of bikes as I am 1.93m tall and he had a 58cm frame ready to go.
A great bike and well maintained. Daniel was also happy to drop off and pick up in Monte Estoril. He also provided a puncture repair kit, pump, helmet and pedals, all included.
Super friendly - will definitely be using them again when we are back in Cascais!

Contacted for a race bike. Got a carbon ultegra bike for a good price. Delivery at the door. They gave me repair set and helmet and some last tips for the route. Had an excellent ride with magnificent views of the coastal line, national parc, Cascais and Sintra. Can only highly recommend: great service from excellent guys.

We booked four road bikes from this shop and dealt with the charming Brazilian owner Daniel. All four bikes were full carbon road bikes with Ultegra group set. The frames were "Weil" frames. We arrived on a Friday afternoon late and Daniel spent the next hour setting us up, mounting pedals, adjusting seat posts, stems etc and we went for a short spin that night. He has frame sizes from 50cm up to 56-cm. Daniel is an ex-pro rider and he was only too happy to spend his weekend riding with us in the beautiful local countryside. You ride out along the coast and then head into the hills where you need to climb over some 400-500m high hills. Good early season climbing training but nothing too high. Daniel can cater for serious riders and is very well connected locally. Thoroughly recommended for people looking for an alternative to the usual Majorca training weekend. Take your own pedals...

Decided to rent from this place after the positive reviews. This is a very informal shop, which was nice, aka no deposit required and they were pretty lax about the exact timing of our 4 hours, but we were a bit disappointed in our bikes. On one of ours the gears weren't working great (didn't really figure it out until we had traveled a bit), and we also were hoping to get a basket like the people in front of us but they said they had no more, but then saw some people after us get one. Maybe it had to do with the type of bike. Not a bad experience overall, and you probably can't beat them for the price, but if we were to return to Cascais I would probably look into some other options before going back.

We stopped by and met Daniel who was super accommodating, helpful and kind. He helped us pick the best bikes for us, gave us a map of the area, made some suggestions and sent us on our way. Very easy and simple. Daniel was working with another customer while we were there and managed to treat both of us with great service. I would HIGHLY recommend renting a bike here before anywhere else. Very central in Cascais as well.

Had not planned to cycle in Cascais. However the draw of amazing scenery, great weather and excellent roads and cycling landscape was too much to miss out on.
At short notice, Daniel set me up with excellent full carbon Road bike and all the gear...I had absolutely nothing with me!!
The price was extremely reasonable and it was service with a smile.
I will definitely be back, it's a great place to cycle with an excellent company.
Thanks again Daniel :-D

Rented a good carbon road bike for a week. Daniel the owner was extremely accommodating getting the bike set up to my specs. He is also just very friendly and clearly loves cycling. The rides in the Sintra hills are beautiful.

Me and some friends had planed a trip with the free Cascais-Bikes along the atlantic coast but as we arrived in cascais we found all the free bikes already gone.
So we searched for another way to get bikes and thats how we found Daniel's shop.
We rented some Cruiser-Bikes. They were super-light and gear, brakes, everything was perfectly fine for a nice trip along the coast. Daniel also gave us some helpful advices and told us that we could leave the bikes whenever we wanted locked in front of his shop. Having enjoyed the sunset at guincho we arrived at about nine pm in cascais and had no problems to leave the bikes at his shop...the free cascais-bikes have to be back at 4:30 pm.

As I stayed at lisbon for a longer time and had a lot of friends to visit me, I always preferred his bikes over the free cascais-bikes. His bikes are so much better than the free bikes and can be brought back whenever during the day of rental. For me, that absolutely justifies Daniel's prices, which are absolutely fair!
