The golf course was terrific. Interesting, challenging holes, really fun round. That said, it’s been a few years since this course was on the top 100 list, and the place seems a bit dated. No GPS or coolers on the carts, we only saw the buggy bar once on the round, the driving range was a bit tired, and the bathrooms on the course were primitive. It was also quite crowded and made for a slow round (close to 5 hours). Glad we went, but it won’t necessarily be out our list if we come back.

Very beautiful golf course with very many Greens with sea views. Large. Long. Well maintained but expensive, very expensive, as well as the cart as expensive as a Green fee elsewhere without the slightest bottle of water, or tee for example. Very petty on their part which contrasts with the quality of the places...

Oitavos Dunes is not a “Top 100” course, not even close. The facilities are tired and need an overhaul. Eg., range balls are a complete hodgepodge of old mismatched balls. The carts are older. The Course itself is on par with an average muni course in the U.S. The layout is good and very gettable.
