The cliffs along the coast are nice, but I wouldn't go out of your way to visit Boca do Inferno. Our group was all a bit disappointed with the experience and had to navigate the tour bus crowds at the same time.

Boca do inferno is a small area on the coast of Cascais which is a must see. The spectacular view and powerful ocean emanates while observing this beauty. Parking is available as well as small restaurants and public bathrooms.

Mouth of Hell in Cascais. Nature is truly amazing. Was amazing to look down at the crushing sea, really worth seeing and exploring, saw enormous star fish in the rock pools, amazing.

A nice walk from the town, the inferno itself is seen by walking down a staircase in the cliff. Some cafes and a small market are at the area and there are plenty of stop offs along the route with benches and a beautiful view...More

Great place to visit and a must-do in Cascais. I had visited Cabo da Rocha a day earlier though and found it to be more thrilling with a better view. Club your Cascais trip with a meal / beach and visit to Boca do Inferno...More

Such a beautiful view and the water was lovely and completely free. The walk from the station is well sign posted and not too far it's soooo worth the walk

The site is well worth a visit , especially on a rough day with the Atlantic braking onto the rocks and through the arch of rock

You can get a good view of the caves and rocks. Steep steps so probably not vert accessible for buggies and people who are unsteady on their feet. Its easy to get mesmerised watching the waves.

It's definitely easier to get to Boca do Inferno from Cascais. It's just a 20 minute walk along the water from the centre of town.
