The beach is clean, cold but beautiful and clean, the only thing I don't like is that some people use to do topless, it is not good for children.

This is one of the several beautiful beaches in Cascais. You really can’t go wrong with a beach here. This is probably the closest one to the train station. It’s a straight shot through the town. The beach is clean and not huge but has...More

I visited this beach twice, and it was my final go-to place before I left Cascais. It was so tranquil and calm, only two other people on the beach and blissfully peaceful.

A lovely beach, a well run bar, clean toilets and moments from the old centre of Cascais. They do a limited range of tasty sandwiches as well as drinks and ice creams. Twenty euros gets you two loungers and a parasol for the day, great...More

Cute small beach, no waves, so suitable for children .. boards to be rented, close to the main square.

Sewer networks drop nearby, the water might be somehow dangerous for your health. Town hall cleanning services do a poor job maintaining all the areas clean

A must beach to visit when in Cascais. Secluded and quieter than the public beach next door. You are able to rent loungers and a parasol from the bar at this beach run by Anthony and his staff, Marcos and Andre, for 20E. Great people!...More

I was lucky to be on this beach with very few people around. Its a small beach but very beautiful for pictures. Lots of nice cafes and shops near by. good for a small stroll or swim.

It was a small cove but incredibly picturesque with its crystal waters and jagged rock. So beautiful was the beach that the last Queen of Portugal even claimed it as her own and I don't blame her. Our visit was on a day of about...More

Advice needed! Where is the best sunset view in Cascais? (7 Replies)
Hi TA'ers would really appreciate any advice - my GF and I are visiting Cascais in early September, where I am planning on asking a certain question, and I am looking for the best place to do it! Ideally I was thinking of a picnic somewhere with a nice sunset view. Through research I had a few potentials in mind: Casa da Guia (but may be too crowded, and not space to stop or picnic); Praia do Guincho (probably a bit far - we are staying at the Grande Real); Praia da Rainha (what's the...More

During a recent visit, i was advised of a nice bar past Guinicho beach, think a lighthouse was mentioned. It could be at Cabo da roca, as I was told it was the most westerly point in Europe. Perhaps this info will jog some memories
