Very clean beach. Facilities like toilets and bar. Water very clean and calm. The sand can get busy as it’s not the biggest but it’s ideal as it’s 5 minutes from the main Cascais station, and very cheap return tickets from Lisbon. I wish we had more days of our trip so we could return!

Just few blocks from the station at the west end of the train line, this small but intimate beach is very cool. The sand is amazingly fine and soft. So much so that unfortunately on the day we were here, it was very windy and we left the beach looking like we’d been coated in cinnamon. It took some time to get that sand off our bodies. That aside, this is a very small beach and typically not too busy but also a cool beach to try out at least once. There is not a lot of space between groups on a busy day and definitely not a good option if you want to get up and play for awhile. On the west end of the beach is a small cove amongst the rocks. During the summer in mid-day, you can walk into the area and out between the rocks but late in the season as the tides change it can be completely underwater and inaccessible. No amenities or showers but you are right next to downtown Cascais so there are a lot of restaurants very nearby.

This is a beautiful place. Located in a cove right in the centre of beautiful Cascais. A tiny beach limited on both sides by rocks that give a beneficial shade. This pretty beach is a very popular place for locals and tourists alike. A very nice beach in the center of a charming town. Just in time for a short rest.

A fabulous view of the Cascais shoreline, beach, and fort. Service was prompt and efficient. There is only a small menu, and one is paying for the outdoor venueand views. Try the chicken salad - better than the tuna salad.

You can walk along the coast, from beautiful beach, to the next beautiful beach. Fantastic promenade , I walked from Estoril to Cascais every day. There are some amazing photo opportunities and lovely restaurants on the way. Very clean beaches .

It's about a 35-40 minute train ride from Lisbon's Cais do Sodre. It costs about €4.10 for a return journey. It's a wonderful beach with great amenities, bar, take away food and toilets. There are a few activities along the beach too, inflatable floating assault course and pedal boats. Lots to keep the kids (adults) amused.

Rainha is a small beach close to the shops in Cascais. Perfect soft sand, crystal clear water and caves & rockpools to explore.
Whilst we were there in August it was very busy, but with people quietly sunbathing & swimming - it's not a party or ball games beach.
Just to the right of the beach is a little cove, where you can swim with the little fish under the cliffs.
There is also a small beach bar (expensive, but nice) and clean toilets.

Great accesses, just a 1 minute (!) walk from the train station, the first thing you notice is the amazing view over the marina on one side, and the beautiful Estoril coast on the other! The bar that's on the beach makes you feel like you're in the Caribbean, instead of Europe. Great cocktails, really friendly staff and surprising prices! A must do if you're in Cascais or anywhere else in the Lisbon region!
