a small red, brick lighthouse that looks like a factory chimney more than anything else. As an attraction, its not worth anyone's time, its only redeeming value is that its located in the vicinity of Jeronimos monastery and the Belem tower.
On it's own it is not really worth the effort to visit, however because there is so much else to see in the area along the bank of the River Tagus., it is worth taking a stroll to have a look.
