Incredible Views

We came upon this vista point quite by accident whilst heading up the winding hilly road out of Figueira toward the National park. The views are amazing and you can see for miles. There are various viewing levels and picnicking area. We only stopped a short while but returned the following day with a picnic, to enjoy the views and lovely unpolluted fresh air.

Best view of Figueira da Foz and the sea around. Very easy to get there, close to Figueira da Foz, a nice place for pictures.

We took the drive to get this great view. This is a must to see the beach and the city of Figueira. Take a drive!

Stunning viewpoint, you can see forever!!

A must visit when in Figueira, you can see for miles, don't miss it. A lovely cool drive up through the forest and some interesting hairpin bends giving some spectacular views out over the Atlantic with the pristine beach below.

Worth a visit if you're in Figueira da Foz - nice views. Otherwise, don't bother - it has a nice view but nothing of unforgettable.

It's a lovely view of the coastline but I would not go out of my way for it

Drove home from the University this way and it was lovely to see the coastline. I am amazed it's not developed. A high end resort would be perfect here. However, it's nothing spectacular...just pretty and makes for a pleasant drive back to Figeira da Foz.

Great viewing point out over the Atlantic. Great to watch the rollers crashing in. Easy to drive to right at the far west end of the beach pass Fig da Foz's small water park.

I failed to understand why the beaches of Figueira were so highly recommended, they have absolutely nothing of unique!
Therefore, the comparison with Copacabana is just laughable, to say the least!
This viewpoint is not that bad but you overlook nothing special, so...
One must be very careful with kids there, it's always very windy anyway.
I would neither go back to Figueira, let alone drive all the way up to that viewpoint!

Amazing view over the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo Mondego

One of the best spots in Serra da Boa Viagem to overlook the sea. It has some big eucalyptus that cut the view over Figueira da Foz bay, but it's worth a visit! If you have time, you can have a meal in the restaurant Abrigo da Montanha which serves delicious food.

All destroyed and abandoned! Nobody seems to care about space for decades! call it a touristic point? must be a joke!!!
If you climb one more Km, at the "abrigo de montanha" restaurant you get a much better view !!!
