Nice river beach, with a lot of sand to lie on. There is no shortage of space. There are also plenty of amenities just next to it... bar, beach volley, barbecue and a big open space parking lot. The water is quite low in this part of the river, so it will feel like a big natural pool. Great for the kids.

An interesting place to go if you are in Coimbra. But avoid it on weekends. The river beach is nice but the bar is so bad. Specially when you have a DJ at 3 PM with the clear task of annoying every customer with his lousy electronic music. There is a barbecue area meaning that you are always smelling food, wherever you are on the beach. Parking could also be a nightmare.
