The tour was divided into two parts: the first one in a tuk-tuk with a very nice and polite guide (we were lucky!) who picked us up from the hotel door, didn't shy away from answering questions and had a charming smile. But the ride...More

Long tour (45 min) for the canals of Aveiro with good description of history. There are many stops to take the best pictures of the canals and city.
The man at the desk for the boattrip did not say anything like hello, goodmorning, or something like that, only 'come back at 12 o'clock'. And he wrote that on the ticket. When we came back he forgot us (because hé was only bussy with...More

Nice trip through the city by boat. It gives a breeze overview of the old history of the city. Very touristic but nice, so if you are there go for it.
We took the tour on a boat to see the beautiful city of Aveiro. Don't expect a lot of details from the guide during the tour, but it's also ok to relax. A nice stop between Coimbra and Porto.
If you're in Aveiro, this should be something for you to do. Lasts about 50 minutes. 8€ a head for adults is perhaps a little steep as you feel obliged to leave a tip too.
For those like me suffering from extreme sea sickness, the city tours in Aveironin a touristic train is an amazing option! Only 5 euros pp, you get to see everything those taking the boats do. The staff are soon friendly, I really recommend it.
Although we had a bit of wait for our trip it was worth it. It took us on all the canal ways through the city and told us the history of what we were seeing. The guide on board was very friendly and chatted liberally...More
